Overalls

Often hated by men, adored by "hipsters" and recently adopted by the fashionistas, overalls made ​​a remarkable entry this summer.

For spring-summer 2014, the look takes a bit after its 90’s roots but has been recycled by blowing a bit of modernity to it. Once mixed with modern and sophisticated pieces, denim or more fluid material, overalls has the advantage of being hyper adaptable and therefore serves a bunch of different looks.

It is ideally worn with a pair of ballet flats or Converse, silky sweater, a beautiful necklace and a chic handbag. We also love to match it with stripes and for the most daring among us, it is possible to wear it without anything underneath but a lace bra or top. Add a structured jacket and a pair of varnished loafers to get the perfect look. For a more hipster’s vibe, it also looks very good with the aims tucked in at the ankles.

If you prefer to play your overalls in a more chic way you must, in this case, choose a flexible and fluid material. Black, gray or burgundy are the colors of choices to wear with a beautiful pair of high heels.

The overalls is unquestionably one of the most dominant trends this summer and will surely try to carve its place in our wardrobe!

Pretty Ballerinas

Since 2009, we can find the famous Pretty Ballerinas in Montréal. From a spanish handmade design, this brand focuses primarily on the ready-to-wear version of the ballerina. The International stars are crazy about them. Take Kate Moss, as an example, who put on her 16 bridesmaids these slippers for her wedding in August 2011. Olivia Palermo rarely leaves home without her beloved ballerinas and Kate Middleton now wears, the shoe version of their classic during her official duties.

This spring/summer collection is absolutely lovely and has among its selection, a wide selection of classic and timeless style that will appeal to the most conservative of us. The pointed toe model and the black lace and nude ones are a good example.
