Hot pink lips

April is the month where we expect the weather to switch to exotics conditions within days. Sometimes it does, but we can all agree that lately it did not. We still have options, that does not include freezing to death, to get an early summery look. It’s called Hot pink lipstick.

Step aside red wintery lips, last summer coral and give way to the new exciting hot pink color of the season. More daring and definitely more girly than the classic red, this hot pink sensation as been seen everywhere on the catwalks from Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg, to Jil Sander.

Fun fact. : Did you know that a man spends in average 7, 3 seconds looking at a woman’s lips when she’s wearing lipstick and only 2, 2 seconds if she’s not? BAM! 

 
Here’s some tips to choose the right shades of color for you: Dark skin tones would look perfect with the bright version as oppose to those with fairer skin should stick to icy pink. To apply the colors like a pro, do not forget to exfoliate your lips prior to application. To make the look stand out and not messy, be precise and use a contouring pen and a brush to apply the color. Now tone it down with the rest of your make up routine. A little mascara will do just fine. Best served with a chilled beverage. Enjoy!
