The crisp white blouse
fascination started when I was about 8 years old. Julia Robert just putted
Richard Gere's over her too sexy dress to go shopping on Rodeo Drive in Pretty
woman. A couple of years later, I remember seeing this gorgeous girl wearing
her lover's shirt on the morning of a wild night. She then made, an almost elegant,walk of shame wearing that same piece of clothing that had now became a dress just by popping
the collar, rolling up the sleeves and adding a belt. Then came the 90's with the super models, Calvin Klein and it's timeless and minimalist approach.
White shows up in all
forms of accessories and garments but is at its most classic in the white
shirt. Chic and feminine, or with a cool borrowed-from-the-boys effect, the
white shirt can be dressed up or dressed down for evening or day, as these
stars and street fashion pictures demonstrate.
