We can
probably trace back the use of lingerie as an accessory, to the Victorian era,
with its corsets and other silk accessories. But if we really want to talk
about a bra worn as part of a style, all roads lead to Carrie Bradshaw.
Our
heroine has often favored bright colors and layered straps , heavily inspired
by the 90s.The slightly rock version, where only the side of the bra is visible
under a camisole, is a good example. It can be worn simply as a transparent
blouse, a lace top or strategically placed under a fitted jacket.
Here
is a look that is definitely not for everyone. For the more modest among us,
the idea remains to be tamed. It is important to keep in mind that it is
possible to incorporate this trend quietly without falling into the
eccentricity à la Madonna by Jean Paul Gaultier.
In the end, it is only underwear as outwear, nothing more, nothing less.
Tell me, will you have the audacity to pair your sexy lingerie to a pretty top?
