The scarf

Scarves have been important key pieces in my wardrobe for a few seasons. I use them most of the time and I just realized that I have made myself a nice little collection. Nevertheless, sometimes it can be difficult to think of new ways to wear it and make it interesting again. How many different and creative techniques can we use to wrap a scarf around our neck? Well, let me offer you my 4 favorite ways to do it this winter.

1. The wraparound

To achieve this look, you'll need a long scarf, which is particularly thick knit. Start by holding one end of the scarf against your neck, then just wrap the other end around it until you run out of fabric. Then tuck the remaining end into the fabric, making sure to hide it. Here it is: your long scarf now have the cozy appearance of a donut.

2. The braided

Double layer your scarf and wrap it around your neck, as if you make a noose. Thread one end of the scarf through the loop, turn the loop once, then pass the other end through. Pull the ends slightly to tighten the braid. This trend works best with more delicate silk scarves, chiffon or other delicate knits.

3 .The freestyle

This option is becoming increasingly popular (especially on warm autumn days). It is simply to let the two ends of your scarf to swing freely on each side of your neck. This look is definitely versatile, because it works with almost all types of scarf, including different lengths and thicknesses and give an instant "glamorous" side to your ensemble.

4. The trolling

This look works really well if you go for a concept à la “Olsen bohemian inspiration - chic." Start by draping your scarf on the nape of your neck and then make a full turn with the remaining end. Nothing is more eye-catching than walking with a firm step, leaving behind a flowy long scarf. I assure you that you will certainly fell on top of your game, or at least in the wind ;-).

And you? How do you wear your scarf?
