The bustier

It doesn't matter if you wear it as dress,a hot pants combination or better yet as a simple top, the bustier  will always give a glamorous and very feminine effect . This garment generously reveals the neckline and shoulder blades giving an impression of sensuality to a set. It must be handled carefully to make sure to stay in the range of sexy and not falling into vulgarity. To prevent the shot, here is some advice.

To wear it to perfection, you must first of all identify your morphology.

Women with broad shoulders should focus on fluid and plain materials to soften their silhouettes.
If you have more of a voluptuous figure, I recommend that you adopt the retro style. The vintage bustiers offer beautiful cuts with sashes (peplums) that cleverly disguise the more rounded hips. The flower prints version, worn with high heels, really does justice to a generous breast and wearing a cardigan carelessly on the shoulders, will  provide coverage and give you a little something sophisticated.
For the other types of silhouettes, your limit is matched only by your imagination. This summer very happening masculine pants goes well with the very feminine look of the bustier. The ultimate layout is definitely the skirt/suit combination; the nec plus ultra of elegance.
It is also incredibly trendy, and a little more discreet, to wear it underneath a sheer blouse or a jacket, thereby returning its function of underwear. To highlight all, I suggest you take your most beautiful pair of jeans and stilettos.

Tell me now, what are you missing to complete this almost perfect outfit?

Neon

I used to think about the crazy fashion of the 1980's every time I would hear the word “neon”. For the past 3 years we seem to see it everywhere and from what as been shown in the last fashion weeks, the whole neon trend isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s  really big this summer.
Once again you don't have to go all out on the trend to embrace it. Gently ease yourself into it by accessorizing with a clutch, jewelry or a fabulous pair of shoes in some very bright colors. If you are reluctant to wearing it but still would like to give it a try; just add a touch around the house via a cute pillow or tablecloths. I personally die for the overall look, but I understand that it's a tad difficult to pull off.

First off, there are some rules we need to take into consideration in order not to go over board (I mean neon street lights style):

1- A little goes a long way (if you feel you can't manage the integral look) . Just a little pop and it will stand out.
2- You can mix and match neon with other colors, but make sure they're darker or more saturated than the one you are wearing.
3- Don't forget  that accessories are the easiest ways to experiment with this poppin’ trend.
4- For workplaces, try to stick to one shade or one really bright color per outfit.

Pop some bright colors into your day!

The Belgian loafer

Invented decades ago, more precisely by  Henri Bendel ( the first importer of Chanel to the states) in the 1940's. M.Bendel used a 300 year-old Belgian cobblers to produce the loafers using the meticulous "turned" method. This technique means that the shoes are sewn inside-out before being flipped when completed. That last move is what ensures that each stitch is flawless. What use to be one very conservative footwear, can now be found in the funkiest styles, colors & designs. The Belgian loafer is a classic to have in your shoe closet and a good way to add a touch of European elegance to your everyday look.
