Blush

Once reserved for ballerinas, baby " showers " and shades of lipstick and gloss, this new shade of pink made a pretty big impression on it's first appearance on the catwalks.

It's made it's presence so intense that the "emerald green" frenzy of the beginning of the season had to take a step down. Blush pink is in the list to become " color of the season ."

In general, the colors we use in cold weather, are much closer to black, gray and brown. Fortunately for us this winter, we have the opportunity to lighten and soften a bit with a touch of  this creamy tint.It is important here not to confuse pink blush for a baby pink, this powdery version of the pink hue as a big beige undertone to it, that ranks it among the family of neutral.

Pink has an almost magical power when paired with the right pieces. It is a chameleon when it comes to mix and match colors with trends . It may be very subtle when arranged in a natural palette, but become very bold and dramatic once associated with a studded jacket, metallic accessories or a black leather pants .This is a great way to soften a flavored " punk " outfit or a somewhat gloomy winter morning.

What's your favorite color of the season?
